Eating has gotten better compared to last year. For gourmets, various sauces or game dishes are offered in preserving jars or vacuum-packed as delicacies. The rooms are as good as new and spotless, the stairwell needs renovation, the old wooden stairs creak despite the thick carpet.

Nice beer garden. Delicious food for young and old. Small playground on site. Easily and quickly accessible from the motorway. We liked it a lot.

Now that we have been able to enjoy the gastronomy several times, it is time to post our experiences. What really impressed me from the first minute was the down-to-earth attitude and philosophy of the house. We have always been great friends of regional cuisine - and we found them here too. Meat from the Halle region - game, from the local area and only when there is some. The guest will find enough choice on the menu for every taste. No 50 or 60 dishes - that's exactly what we wanted! The food is excellently prepared - individually tailored to the needs of the guests. Special requests are not acknowledged with a frown. The wine recommendations met my taste every time. An extra big praise for the service, I take off my hat! The sanitary facilities were exceptionally clean - a big thank you from the guests. The only drawback that we didn't like was the price-performance ratio of the dessert - for 11 euros there is still room for improvement. I am sure that the masters of the cuisine still have room for improvement and can - that would be a request from the guest. Otherwise an absolute recommendation for a nice evening ... With good food and drinks and perfect service, as mentioned above.

A little trip into normality! We had a fantastic meal in the beer garden, as always, with very good food.

The card says "Everything but chips is homemade." and thats the way it is. Even noodles, Jack Spitzle and so on. Everything is delicious. What I was very happy, is that the children's dishes were taken seriously. By that I mean that, e.g. The simple tomato sauce itself was made very delicious and really well seasoned, in addition to the homemade pasta ... Would I eat too! Thanks, we'll be back.

I give a clear recommendation for this restaurant! The conditions were very friendly. And the food was outstanding! I have to admit that I haven't eaten this well in a long time. The food is worth every penny!

We got married in August 2018 in the lamb. Unfortunately, we are only now writing a review. Our guests and we were very satisfied. The service was great and the food more than perfect. We were able to plan the wedding and any questions we could come over anytime. The ambience was wonderful, we were able to share the garden as the weather had played with it. We thank the whole team and the boss of course. Price / performance was more than fair. We also booked a room at the hotel. We can say that it was a beautiful room. The beds very comfortable and the room very clean. The breakfast was as expected very delicious. We were all around happy and always happy to eat in the lamb.

Nice family run hotel. Staff is frindly and rooms are modern renovated and clean. Breakfast selection was big and tasty. Also very easy to reach from the highway.

The food is good

After bathing and water gymnastics in the Limes-Therme, it is always nice to be pampered here, too. The surprise menu with rough direction and then a 'partner dessert' as the crowning glory - just a very special treat! In addition, the selected courtesy and attention from the staff to the boss! Simply a successful 'tasting meeting' !!!

Anyone traveling on the A7 between Aalen and Heidenheim should take the time to take a break at the Lamm in Ebnat near Aalen or to spend the night. It's just a 5-minute drive from the motorway. >> But be careful, there are stationary lightning systems right at the entrance to Ebnat from Oberkochen as well as coming from the A7. It would be a shame if the budget were "used up" before the target was reached. In addition to excellent local cuisine, chef Wolfgang Scherr serves carefully prepared delicacies. Whether regional Swabian cuisine or sumptuous culinary delights, in any case a first-class choice. It is probably no coincidence that the lamb in Ebnat was praised by gourmets. In this house it is still known how a demi ice cream or a hollandaise sauce is prepared. By far a rarity. In addition to Wolfgang Scherr and his kitchen brigade, the guests are pampered by a very attentive, friendly and technically well above average service staff. The price / performance ratio fits in any case and the decision to come back soon is easy.
